  9. Has anyone else had MSDOSFS problems in the last few days?  I'm running
  10. a July 31 -current/i386 system (binaries and kernel), and whenever I try to
  11. cp a file from a NetBSD partition to an MS-DOS filesystem the machine hangs
  12. and I have to do a hard reset.

  14. The MS-DOS filesystem is resident on an IDE drive, so it's possible that this
  15. is a bug with my drive and the wd driver, but I've never had problems with
  16. it before and I was able to boot from a root partition on the same IDE drive
  17. last night with no problems.

  19. Anyway I thought I would post here and see if this is a common problem before
  20. I submit a bug report.

  22. On a related note, does anyone have any idea if Daytona's (and Chicago's,
  23. since they supposedly use the same scheme) long file names on FAT partitions
  24. will interfere with the NetBSD MSDOSFS driver, or are they completely
  25. transparent?  I know that the driver doesn't see the LFNs but I wonder if
  26. there are any potential conflicts here....
